ok this is going to be one of many stupid questions but is it posible to change my carby to a efi system in my 1.3 sierra 92, i am over carbys i ahve had it rebuilt i am running 2 fuel filters a costom joby air filter in my snorkel tube than a stock air filter and still managing to get shit in my carby it runs good as for a couple of months and than after a week end in the bush it will run like a old 2stoke lawn mower missing farting and carying on an stall out every time i pull up at a stop sign or a set of light's and it is driving me up the wall becuase i drive out in the bush (dust, dirt, sand or mud) every week end but it is only doing it like once a month and it normaly ends up with me taking my carby off and doing a rebuild/pulling apart clean and it take a good week end to do proper and i am just a we bit over it so if some one can give me any advice throw it my way. and bake to the main question is there a kit or evern is it posible to change my carby to a efi system?

i have a manifold modifyed to fit a ea falcon center point injection throttle body, there is a few different options if your willing to do a bit of custom work
or just try find a 8v center point set up with ecu and manifold and wiring.. thats probably the easiest.
look around if you can find an aftermarket ecu for cheap than you can use almost any throttle body you can mount on

11_evl is pretty spot on there

back to your problem, have you had your tank cleaned and replaced the hoses? you could be getting rust particles shaking loose or the inside of the hoses could be perishing, both of which will give you massive headaches with EFI

you will have to try the normal swift tbi, They are abit rare i think. Considering haw many carbies swifts there are... The gti's have a different head, and manifold

just dont use a 1.6 swift throttle body as these are too big for an 8 valve.

Have you tried a EFI fuel filter , they are a finer micron and will filter out more crap if your tank is dirty , Cheers Paul.
