is the any easy way of beefing up my alternator, is there anything else compatible that would swap straight over with little feck around?? oh its for a 1.3ltr nt sierra

Strait swap is the gti alternator. An extra 20A from memory.
It's not as beefy or as easy to find as the ford one but it requires no mods.

Edit: actually come to think of it, it requires you to go multi v.
You need to change the water pump, crank pulley, go Thermo fan or have an adaptor made. So it actually is quite a few mods.
I was going multi v already for my power steering.
