Hi could some one please let me no where the chassis number is located on a lwb sierra, i just got one but the chassis has been painted with pressure packs!! really hoping they havent been filed off! Cheers Alan |

In a LWB Suzuki sierra, (And guessing by the name, this is you) Front of the car, outside of the driver side chassis rail. Look in the wheel well. In a LWB Maruti Stockman, Rear of the car, outside of the drivers side chassis rail, 10cm before the rail ends. |

Front right of chassis. About inbetween engine mount and steering box. |

If its a jap sierra it on the drivers side in the front wheel arch just behind the steering box ( outside of rail). If its a maruti its on the drivers side about 20cm in from the very back of the chassis. |

yeah i know should have checked, but i got it for next to nothing and its only bought for a farm ute so im not that concerned it has rego and an enginners cert ill hit the chassis with a wire brush and see what i can find im sure they are there, i think its a case of a young bloke with a pressure pack getting a bit excited! |

Coilers have them in both places IIRC, to help prevent chop shop activities - I think a legislative requirement? Steve. |
