Has anyone had any success locating the centre crank shaft seals for a 77 LJ50??

Ive found plenty of suppliers who can reference part numbers but no one who can actually get them :x

Did actually find some OS but they weren't interested in posting them to OZ.

Hi Bruce,

These are the numbers (robbed from another thread)

No 21: 09283-25054
No 25: 09289-44003
No 35: 12311-67010 (x2) - These are the two centre seals
No 38: 09283-35006

I need all five of the above

Cheers,

Ben

Hi Mate,

I'm in Sydney (Baulkham Hills)

I did find them at http://www.infodozer.com/catalogs/musas ... ker=SUZUKI, sent the guy an email and had a response saying postage was too difficult.

What do you mean by having a line on them? If anyone is expected a shipment of them, can i put my name on two?

Yes he was the only source I could find when I was looking.

Have you found someone who can do the crank pressing and set-up?

ME too!!!!!

if these are regularly availible, there is a dude on EBAY doing full top end rebuild kits including pistons. so we should be good for full new rebuilt engines

I contacted this guy and asked if he will deal direct (Guy in Wentworthville) he said it was fine. He then sent me his 4page PDF of available bits and pieces with prices

Whilst i have you guys looking, do you know why my cylinder head is different to every other LJ50 i've seen??

The face of mine is flush (externally) with "SUZUKI" cast into it, all others i've seen don't say Suzuki and have depressions where the plugs screw in?

I tried before and gave up! Whats the trick?

Ill have another crack, engine number matches the compliance plate so the block is original, build date is 11/77

ok, its a late model one.

Does it have the oil feeds into the cyls as well as the crank case?

some of the newer ones only had the bottom three oil feeds, i.e none direct into the cyls

Got four lines off the oil pump.

1 which branches to each cylinder

then 1 line to each of the mains.

I think you are talking about Greg - I have got a heap of stuff from him - Very helpful guy and an LJ man himself - He tried for seals for me but had no luch but does have bearings.

They look correct, it may be the pics but the roll pin looks to close to the edge.
