Hey just about to buy an OME 40mm suspension set for my jimny and im wondering if the brake lines will be long enough to remove the old coils+install the new longer ones without spring compressors. Reason i ask is because if i have to buy the compressors it will set me back half as much as it would cost to have ARB do the install.

Thanks

Spring compressors aren't necessary. Unbolt your calipers from the hub and tie them off to your chassis and then drop the axles down as far as you want/need/drop them to the ground.

I got mine in by jacking up by the diff and putting stands under the chassis and SLOWLY letting the diff drop... Back come out easy enough but the front from memory had to be set free from the little clip that runs the brake line across the front axle? From memory... My uncle did most of the work but I know we didn't have to undo anything major :)

nah u dnt have to buy any compressor or even remove calipers either

u just need some stands and a jack

jack up ur car, take the wheel off and the old shock off too

put some stands in the chassis and lower ur jack and let the axle come down till u can get the spring off

if it happen like mine u prob have to put your jack in top of the radius arm to jack down the axle bit lower till u get enough space for the spring to get in

:helloo:
