what are people's opinions on the best parts to buy in the US for a Sierra? I've got a business trip in a month and wanted to make the most of the opportunity. I've got a Sierra ute that I'm working on. Nothing too extreme, just lifted, locked rear, rear discs, future power steering and probably some other things if I think of them (and have the cash). I was looking at geting a rag joint eliminator: http://www.roadlessgear.com/page/RGL/PROD/ST/RJE100 and maybe an inclinometer http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/inclinosam.htm What parts would others get? Also, anyone want to recommend somewhere to deal with (or not to)? |

Lowrange Offroad. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/ They are the best we've found. Don't know how you will go getting the stuff while you're there though, shoot them an email. |

Im looking into this also. Small parts will be ok but large parts like axles and lockers, Which is actually worth bringing over for free.. May be a customs issue. I have to ring customs tomorrow. Shocks are a no go as they are charged with gas and oil. Unsure about others yet. Small parts will be easy for them to post, they wont cost much. |

Yeah but like i said already.............. Im ringing customs. I will post what they say tomorrow. Oh and $900 max for invoice. For anything, camera's, parts, etc. If over, they will tax you on everything including clothes bought. (which is not normally included) |

all this shit weighs too much, post is probably cheaper than exess baggage. and then there is the cost in getting there let alone your time lost buying crap instead of site seeing |
