how you going fellas, went to put longer leafs in there rear yesterday and i notic this weird linkg think.. bein told its to stop axel tramp and springs from bending.. will it stop my car from flexing as much as it should... also didnt get to put the longer leafs in... i forgot i had standard rear shackles here is a pic of the arm |

yes its to stop axle warp/ tramp. shouldn't stop your car flexing if its made right. put up a pick of the other end where its mounted to the chassis |

What about using a double cardon joint? I suppose you would still have the same problem though. |

Is it mounted to the chassis by what looks like a spring shackle? |

its mounted to the chassis with a pivot style bearing hoop.. ill take another pic tomorrow |

ok then... i see... your talking about the thingy mabobby again..... i understand the idea of the bar to the diff but whats the go with the pinon to the tcase? can someone please explain it in dumb arse language |

if you dont have the output of the Tcase joined to the pinion with a driveshaft you wont go anywhere when you put it in gear and let the clutch out, this can also affect your fuel economy lots of 4wd's have the same in the front too
