Just put the bonnet back on the LWB and it doesn't close because the engine is now to high.

Anybody know how much the Petroworks engine mounts drop the engine?

I would prefer this as opposed to body lift. Low is the new high.

You could try trimming a little of the bonnet bracing to clear the manifold.
I don't know anything about the petroworks kit.

Petroworks kit is supposed to mount the engine lower than stock .. Up to 20mm lower I believe... Enough so that G16B fits without bonnet mods or body lift...
I have the Petro kit but also have body lift...

Thanks Jas.
I think I will go down this track first then. Sent a query off to petro works for price and availability.

If you fit a Petro kit, be sure to make up an aluminium heat sheild for the passengers side engine mount.
I melted one and had to make a replacement.
