House painter? Car painter? Bridge painter?

What exactly are you looking to get done?

if ur painting the same colour itll be a reasonable price to get done professionally - but to change the colour (ie: paint the inside) is insanely expensive to completely outsource.

   idk that id be the greatest ones for tips. ive only painted demo derby cars so that awsome finish was not realy required (lol 1 did win best presented but). but i guess i would say. 6P's

Prior
Preparation
Prevents
Piss
Poor
Performance

- first thing i would suggest is finding an old bonnet or two and having a practise with different pressures and the likes. before you go spraying your car.

-good surface prep is the foundation of a good paint job. so spend your time doing this. try to prime your pannels as soon as they are clean and rubbed back

-use a good primer. and obviously try to do all of it in a dry dust free environment.

-obvious things like painting constantly and starting at the top and working down, lots of thin coats r better than 1 thick one etc

-spend time masking of properly

-trial and error means your last spray will probably be your best so try to do the hidden bits first

- also BLACK IS THE HARDEST COLOR TO PAINT!

i dont realy no mutch more than that

oh only reason i said that is coz last time i was at the pannel beaters with dad he asked the owner (the pannel beater) why there three comapny cars had been resprayed black. and he said coz it was the hardest to paint. lol thats all i based my fact on.

Supercheap have 4l cans of enamel for about $50 in a small range of colours. It's not brilliant but it comes out okay. They've also got primer, spray bog, rust converter ect for bugger all. It's all good enough for a 4bie

The Paint Place have good stuff (industrial enamel) in just about any colour you could want. I paid $125 for 4L of super bright-burn your eyes out-don't look at this with a hangover-yellow. They had a few premixed colours on the shelf for $70-80 though.

Good luck.
