Post subject:  Rear Door Table Ideas?

Right, got a 5 door Vit wagon, and was thinking about making up a rear door table. I've seen a few on here and was trying to work out the easiest, and simplist way to make one. I still want it too look half decent though :wink: Any ideas and tips?? Pics would be awesome 8)

have a quick read through my build up thread... 8O :lol:


12mm ply 1060mm X 315mm
2 plastic hinges, 2 knobs, 2 stretchy things
carpet, vinyl, screws & spray glue

been thinking about building one since getting the zook, now it's done & it turned out alright :lol: 8)

Easiest way is a piece of ply, cut to size required, some marine or similar carpet, some strap webbing and a couple of tonneau bungy clips an 2 hinges.
oh and some quick grip contact adhesive for carpet.

Exellent 8) Pics are soooo much easier to read, lol. They both look great, and that's exactly what I hoped to acheive. I'm inspired!

Hey Chop, what's the "spray glue" you used? Do you remember what brand it was?
