Hi Guys, I have a Rough Country steering Damper. WIll i notice any difference is i replace it with a RTC tough dog damper? Steering has some wobble and is a bit wandery at higher speed. Car has been lifted and castor correction fitted. Cheers |

Yes! But it will not fix the issue, just cover up the problem more, but they are great off-road.... |

A steering dampener will only mask the problem. Your better off spending the money resolving the issue of the wobble - wheel balance - buckled wheel - wheel bearings - kingpin bearings - suspension bushes - steering box |

I got Water in my tyres that i cant get out it is causin some wobbles. |

Crikey, an there are no tyre dealers in WA who can take the tyre off and drain the water, making your car safe, bugger. |

- wheel balance - buckled wheel - wheel bearings - kingpin bearings - suspension bushes - steering box These are all relevant things to check when chasing a steering wobble, but one thing I don't hear people mention much is the knuckle scraper seals. In my own experience I have found that having freshly rebuilt knuckle assemblies makes a lot of difference. If you check all your bearings, bushes rod ends etc and are still getting the wobble do a knuckle rebuild. |
