Hey guys, looked at a leafy yesterday, its really tidy except for one problem. When you put your foot on the break, the high beam light in the dash comes on, when you put high beams on, the indercator dash light comes on, and a few other combinations that I cant remember.
The dash has never been taken out of the car.
Just wondering if anyone knows what may be causing this, and a possible solution
Thanks
Dave

Either something is hooked up wrong or worn through, OR it's an earth problem (instead of power going through whatever it's supposed to be, it tracks back through other stuff because the earth on something is too poor)

Electrical problems like that shouldn't be too much trouble, there's plenty of people on here who could help you out if you get stuck.

Check and clean the fuses as well as the tail light bulbs (get some light sandpaper and clean the bulb sockets too). I had the same prob in my first Sierra and I can't remember but it was one of the two above that fixed it lol. :D

Pull the fuses out and check then, one will be blown in the top left area of the fuse panel

the high beam light coming on with the brakes is a factory feature(yes really)
means either a blown fuse or dead taillight globes.
