Finally got my g16b sierra started today :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
there is still a few little things i need to sort out like the exhaust.

Only problem is that im pretty sure coily sierra's use different length extractors to the leafy's. When i was running the 1.3L i bought a set and they didnt fit because they were from a leafy, didnt know they made 2 types of extractors

Does anyone know of any brand of extractors that will fit a coily sierra with 1.6 g16b baleno motor?

Also im going to betting a new exhaust made up for the car at the same time. what size would you guys recommend? Will there be any problems with engineering?

Cant wait to get this sorted so i can try out the 1.6 on the road :P :P :P
cheers, Dan

yes leafy and coilys extractors are different
the coilys extractors are longer in length, like you said.
i would say, the g16b extractors should work

I used the exhaust manifold that came from the donor vit. It clears the LH chassis rail by about an inch. From this back, I ditched the coily exhaust and went 2.25" to the tip. I can't remember exactly how much it cost, but with a new cat and muffler, it was around $350.

The ones i have on mine are wildcat for g13bb jimny's. partno is.711

I had to hammer around the gbox/engine bolt on the side a fair bit as g13 blocks are thinner. Clears everywhere else fine, and sits nice up in chassis

Ive had wildcat vit extractors also, they were all over the engine mount, had to cut and remake cyl 2 and 3 pipes! pita.
