I just screwed my water temp sensor into the stock sensor hole. Why bother having 2 water temp gauges
Or you can get an adaptor to go in the radiator hose, however I struggled to find one small enough for a zook hose.
If you can get a sensor that fits the stock sensor hole use it - if you use an adapter that goes in the radiator hose, leave the stock gauge in place - the new gauge will not indicate the engine temperature until the thermostat opens and a thermostat which fails closed may result in the engine overheating with no indication on the gauge.
