Hi there. Well I've bitten the bullet and bought the Calmini winch bar for my vitara - now just anticipating the arrival. (oh yeah, and some lock rite lockers) I've been looking on ebay for a winch and am considering the 10000lb tiger11z - for only 485 bucks. I cannot justify >1500 for a warn. Can anyone pass comment on the tiger11z or the ironman equipment? My vit does not go out too often, but when it does I need the winch to work. I've been using a hand winch for a while, but I'm getting too old for that. Any info would be appreciated. |

I bought a 9500lb No Name winch off eBay about 2 years ago and its still going strong. To give you a idea on how much work its done Im looking at replacing the cable soon. The guy I got mine off is in Melbourne and he now has his own website....> Crazy Sales This guy is trustworthy and Ive since purchased many items from his store. I think theres a 12,000lb one on there which I was thinking of getting and then putting my current 9500lb on the back. But the 9500lb does a great job anyway. Remember your only winching zooks but Ive recoverd larger vehicles as well, problem there is you need to anchor your zook to a tree thats not gonna break!! |
