My 16v engine is out of an X-90, and the throttle cable has a connection on the throttle pedal side for a ball joint. I'm not sure if Vitaras are like this too, but they probably are. Sierra's aren't. Anyway, I had to figure out how to connect the X-90 cable to my Sierra throttle pedal. I managed to find a 7mm ball joint at a place called 'Auto Carb" on Norman Street, Wooloongabba. They also go by the name of "Autogas". It was only about $4.
