Has anyone put the outdoor auto 2" lift on their new GV (i have a 2008). I'm looking at doing the budget lift kit 2 and am wondering if that is all thats required? ODA - GV Budget 2 Do i need a diff drop bracket? has anyone had any issues with their lift? i.e. needing new springs afterwards, camber drama's, CV drama's etc any help would be appreciated! |

Try www.newgrandvitara.net They only talk about the current GV, had a look myself as I want to upgrade. |

For $880 you can get the ironman 4omm lift kit and that uses raired coils and new longer struts and shocks. Its a more complete kit and is alot better since they replaced the struts in the kit. Ive got this installed in the wifes 08GV and it works a treat and looks the goods too. Also dont forget once you have lifted it your gonna need camber bolts to get the alignment back in spec. |

If you lift that vehicle, you might want to keep an eye on the front control arm rear bushing - because the design has the bush axis vertical it is forced to flex further on a lifted vehicle. I've seen a couple of torn ones on standard height vehicles that have been used off road, I can only imagine that they would tear faster on a lifted one. |
