Has anyone put the outdoor auto 2" lift on their new GV (i have a 2008).

I'm looking at doing the budget lift kit 2 and am wondering if that is all thats required?

Do i need a diff drop bracket? has anyone had any issues with their lift? i.e. needing new springs afterwards, camber drama's, CV drama's etc

any help would be appreciated!

They only talk about the current GV, had a look myself as I want to upgrade.

For $880 you can get the ironman 4omm lift kit and that uses raired coils and new longer struts and shocks. Its a more complete kit and is alot better since they replaced the struts in the kit.

Ive got this installed in the wifes 08GV and it works a treat and looks the goods too.

Also dont forget once you have lifted it your gonna need camber bolts to get the alignment back in spec.

If you lift that vehicle, you might want to keep an eye on the front control arm rear bushing - because the design has the bush axis vertical it is forced to flex further on a lifted vehicle.

I've seen a couple of torn ones on standard height vehicles that have been used off road, I can only imagine that they would tear faster on a lifted one.
