Post subject:  Sierra Suspension lift question

Hi Guys recently bought a Suzuki Sierra classic 1993 model.

My Zook has a 2inch body lift and is running 31s. I am looking at getting 4.9 reduction gears and doing a 2inch suspension lift.

I am just wondering what else I would need to do with this kind of lift? Is extending brakelines and tail shaft necessary etc?

I have searched alot of the other threads but am unclear of the answer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers Duffy

Definately fit extended brake lines.

Tailshaft spacer won't be required.

Look at beefing up your transfercase with a rocktoy ring, mighty kong cradle or a ZOR cradle, or if your handy with a welder, fab up your own. If you don't do this your soft alloy transfercase will more than likely crack and possibly wreck your reduction gears. Do it once and do it properly is the go... Also, consider installing Just Cruizin poly transfer case mounts. This also raises your case by 37mm.

Goodluck.
