i am interested in converting my 1.6 carby vitara motor into a single point injection to keep it simple and cheap so it will run upside down . just want to know whats invovled and roughly how much it would cost me ?

Pretty sure there was a 1.6 spi motor for sale on here the other day, went with extractors for $200 though he said it had head trouble.

Maybe chase down the thread and ask old mate if he knows anything about where to get another?
