HAHA sucked in sierra owners

95 SWB hardtop Vitara
2.5" lift
235/75 all terrains at 20psi
small amount of aircon use
last tank 8.6l/100km, normally 9 to 10 (10 if heavy traffic and aircon on)

for everyone running bigger tires it would pay to get hold of a GPS and compare readings to see how far out your odometer is

yeah, completely stock, LWB 91 vit. 8.5l/100km and if i thrash it around town then i get 9.8l/100km's. i wasn't sure if that was bad as my old supercharged vp clubsport used 18l/100km's when i treated it nice. but yeah the vit is awsome on fuel.

All highway, sitting on 100kn/h (indicated) actual according to GPS 107km/h.

Extra weight:

1.3 WT sierra
31trekkers,lifted,cig rear,lobster.
around 12l/100kms>fuel
roughly same with oil :?

Post subject:  Re: List your fuel ecomony

89 Sierra
1.3 carb
6.5:1 gears
3" lift

With the 32" tyres we get around 12-12.5L/100 around town & 10.5L/100 out on the open road.
With the 9.5 x 30's we get closer to 10L/100 around town & 9L/100 on the open road.

Something interesting to note, the fuel economy gets worse with the top off than it does with the A/C on.

And

IF!

The missus drives all the above figures go out the window. 8O
