ive noticed these "motorway mongrels" and they look sick! they are just extreme trekker rip offs really, but the mongrel model is actually a retread. (ino thats not safe at high speeds..but its a sierra it doesn't no what speed is.Smile) therefore they should be cheaper?? any 1 got sum?any good? cheers: jez |

heaps of people down in tassie use mongrel and they seem pretty good probably wouldn't last on like a cruiser but a zook would be fine the tyres i use are remoulds like mongrels but a different tread and i'm happy with them |

I was lookin at them when they had them in a 31" but then they apparently stoped makin them and had a 32"(Thats what the guy at the tyre shop told me!) Said i could have them for $150 each but then brought my 4 swampers on rims for $600........ |

i used to have motorway all terrains which were'nt to good at all. now i use maxxis buckshot mudders with no problems. i believe mongrels are very stiff side walls & you need to drop most of the air to get them to bulge. |

They're a great tyre if you get the monoform not the retread version. I wont mention what we paid for 5 tyres here in the west but we would buy them again even if we had a decent supplier over here. We've got about 60,000k's on them so far and they've still got 70% tread left on them. Only problem we've had is getting them properly balanced. |

Another vote here for the 32" monoform mongrels. They bagged well at 10-12psi and have loads of grip. |
