I normally run my GV on 95 but today I put the cheap fuel in by mistake 91 with the 10% Ethanol. My question is will this decrease the performance or consumption and will it harm the engine? |

why worry, its an engine. 1 tank of peasant octane fuel wont be the reason the engine fails in another 400 000km. worry more about servicing intervals and what type of oil you fill it with. |

I'd be burning all off as quick as possible & before refilling so you don't end up with a blend of gummy varnish hippy fuel & petrol. |

OK guys, got the message. I am going for a run down to the Gong tomorrow when I get back will fill up with some High Carbon Tax fuel. thanks for your comments |

i'm not sure if the H25a runs a knock sensor, but it would be fine on regular unleaded. 95 or 98 would be nicer. 
get it as low as you can tomorrow before filling up & see if you notice any difference. |

98 octane all the way. I've done 90,000k on 98 octane (now dual fuel) and its amazing the difference the fuel makes when you service the car yourself. Like I took the rocker cover off a few months ago and everything way clean, like you wipe a rag over it and its spotless! And I havn't taken touched it in 3 years  (i took it off cause it started leaking, 3 years isn't bad!)
