as it says ,i was offered some new headers off a vitara to go on my sierra , will it work

Only if your Sierra has a vitara motor. The inlet and outlet manifolds are on different sides of the head.

Vitara and sierra carby headers are interchangeable.

SOHC EFI heads are different to carby, but they are all the same amongst themselves (Baleno, swift, Vitara etc)

DOHC heads (G13B GTi) are different to both.

and chassis clearance can be a problem. More room in a vit, so they can make them wider.

True. Clearance can be tight around the engine mount.

Clearance can be more of a problem near the front spring rear mount
had to modify the end of the 2-1 collector for more clearance.
Each make may vary. Mine clears the engine mounts but its close.

Oh well, I guess I'm just a dick head then, but I thought all the vit snorkels I see and the sierras running vit engines with snorkels have the snorkels mounted on the passenger side pilar? Or am I just imagining things again? Wouldn't be the first time

The 16V Efi engines have the airfilter in the LHS of the engine bay, but the Inlet manifold is still on the driver's sdie and the Exhaust is on the Pass side.
