Post subject:  Looking for mechanic to do log book service

Howdy,
this may or may not belong in this section, feel free to tell me where to go (put this post that is). Its my first post, so I'm still trying to work out what's appropriate.
I've noticed that a lot of members here are from QLD, and a significant number of those reside in Brissie. Add to this that there are a lot of technically able people posting some very handy info for those of us who aren't so able, I figured this might be a good place to find someone in the know when it comes to finding a reliable mechanic.
I bought my Jimny new about 18 months ago, so its due for a minor service, but I'm finding the dealership services to be somewhat....pricey.
Are there any members who handle or would know a reliable mechanic on the north side of Brisbane town who deal with Suzuki log book servicing that won't interfere with my warranty (obviously).
To sweeten the deal, my wife drives a mazda 3 that's due for its 24 month service. We've just had our first baby and we're trying to save cash where possible.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Don't mention the short fat coily driver sent you, or you will most likely be hit with a surcharge

Cheers guys, that's super handy.
Yeah rush, scrawn sent me a pm (cheers mate) but I've had a full on week and haven't gotten back to him yet. Actually, this is the first time I've been near my computer.
I was curious though, (bear with me, as I haven't checked my service manual or warranty details to verify this) can suzi have my balls over warranty if the computer diagnosis isn't run as part of the service?
My guess is yes, but if anyone knows different it'd be handy to find out.
Cheers again guys.
