Just had a look at my pitman arm in the Vit. and the joints on the end are pretty flogged out. Tie rod ends could probably use replacing too. I noticed the pitman arm joints look welded in. does anyone know where i could get a new one, also Tie rod ends -Rob |

pitman arm is the arm on the steering box Do you mean draglink? There is a thread on here about a guy got ebay stuff and it hit the diff, I think the inner tierods were made wrong |

what are you calling a pitman arm? you should only have one & it's attached to the steering box & draglink, the other side of the drag link is supported by the idler arm & attached to the drag link are the tie rods, which I managed to snap on last night & attached to the tie rods are the tie rod ends that attach to the knuckles. $50 from repco today
i'm pretty certain there shouldn't be any welded parts. |
