Will the front diff carrier from an SV420 bolt straight up to a gv steel diff?

yes, but it's the weak part of the diff that you're using & from memory i think you'll need the LHS SV axle.

next question.....Will the internals of the alloy sv diff swap straight into the steel gv diff? As in the R&P's, center, etc?

If your doing all this work then it will pay to get a Vitara center and fit that into the GV 3rd member and then fit manual hubs. No more stupid vac engagement to play up when wheeling.

Already got manual hubs and picked up a vit diff today. we'll need to have a chat about that locker you keep talking about :wink:

Come over on sat arvo when we do daves4x4 suspension. I'll tell you about it then. Bring the 2 centers and if we get time may put them together for you.

Would like to but i'll be at a wedding this saturday. I'll see if i can undo the pinion nut myself next week and leave it till next weekend
