Hi guys sorry I havent really searched cos im on my phone and it was shitting me trying to search,
But since I remember there not being too much tech on the dark voodoo that is the vit carb, here goes:
I now all of a sudden have no idle on my vit, let go off the acc and it just cuts out smoothly, idled perfectly on friday when I parked, and when I got into it saturday no idle.
do these carbs have an idle solenoid? Cos all of a sudden like that seems a bit odd for a blocked idle jet, I havent really had a chance to look yet, just after some advice so I dont go in blind.
Thanks in advance

I know that there is a little vacuum line that runs from the carb to the air filter housing, If it falls of (or you forget to plug it back it, Idle is affected badly.
Last time I changed the air filter I forgot to plug it back on, felt like I had put a huge lift cam in......took a while to work out the problem as well as its hard to see.

nah im well aware of that its all good, I'll try to clarify the fault further cold start it runs, then as you watch the choke butterfly open it turns to poo then conks out, once the butterfly is open it needs some throttle all the time, or it just smoothly cuts out, does anyone have a vitara fuel cut solenoid lying about, or maybe a whole carb if they arent willing to part, or maybe does someone know any part numbers?

If the carby turns out to need a rebuild, didnt I hear that one off a 4k corolla motor should bolt on, and be much more simple? So if I sourced one I should be onto a good thing?
