Guys should I get a SWB or a LWB Vit? I like the idea of 4 doors as I've only ever had 2d cars. How do they go off road, which is better? I'll be buying one as soon as I can sell my Jimny so hopefully within the month. Also may be leaning instead towards getting a 180sx, so convince me! Dave |

I'd say LWB, the room is always better to have. If you think you wont need it, you will one day and regret not having it when ya want it. |

LWB better for climbing. LWB better handling IMHO. LWB better for seating more than 2 people, and/or camping gear. SWB better ramp over, and better power to weight ratio. SWB better for discouraging freeloading passengers I'm biased to LWB's [flash width=480 height=385]http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/luCFPmCkEHE.swf[/flash] |

SWB, nothing better than whipping a U-Turn at the end of the little track that ran off the other little track when the LWB's are doing 16 point U-Turns. i want a MWB Vitara...

Decide what you want to do first, go fast or slow then go from there. A vitara and a 180sx are from the opposite end of the motorsport spectrum. besides that, I'm with Chris on all points except for the freeloader passangers, I have my rear seats taken out so it's just a 2 seater. |

I used to have an integra and have bought a jimny (to sell). The jimny is freaking dangerous in the wet and wind and has no power at all! It's unbelievable! That's why I want a 180. But I really wanna go camping and 4x4ing, beach etc. so I'll go for the vit. The 180 will have to wait until I have a million dollars to rego 2 cars hahah. My mate said that the difference is about 200 - 300mm from swb to lwb. Is that right? And what difference does it make (other than climbing easier) |

My back, neck and shoulders like the 4 doors, no reaching into the back to grab stuff, just open the door. Thou I guess its an easy reach in a SWB thru back door? |

there is only like 200 to 300 mm of space in the back of a swb you open the back door and the seats are there. if you thought the jimny was dangerous you might be better with a lwb bit more stable |

Ah ok, that video was great (Now that I can actually watch it.. stupid Iphone..) Could you guys post up some pics or videos of your vits at all? I think maybe the lwb would be better, having watched that video, it still looks quite small which is good. My integra basically turned into my little mobile room because I had so much shit in there, and I've found that the Jimny is too small to be a portable room hahah |

Go the LWB. If it weren't for the SV LWB having the H20a instead of teh J20a, I would have bought one instead of my SWB. |

Have a look at a few of our build threads in the rigs section. You will get some inspiration on what you could do with yours. |

2 cylinders. H20 is a V6. J20 is a 4. For all insensive purposes they have the same power. |

H20a is a 2.0l V6, the J20a is a 2.0l 4cyl, both have very similar outputs in the way of torque & power |

GV's are better IMO. More plastic, but a nicer vehicle. And they all come with a 2.5L V6 or bigger J20 started in the SV420 model vits around 96-97 I believe |

Does anyone know what the fuel consumption is like from h20 to j20? So would a GV be the better option? I always though that they were more of a mum's car, like a rav4 I suppose. |

In the space of 6 weeks you have worked your way through almost all of suzuki's 4x4 line up. They DON'T all do the same things well. |
