it would put the tail shaft in the right spot for the diffs but gearing may be a issue.

That is the main reason i wanted to run it so that i can just use a hilux diff in the rear and not have to try and find a bundy one

The biggest issue is the height of the rear output. Your shaft will be coming from up near the floor. Usually the body mount cross member will get in the way, so you will need to laminate that and then cut the centre section out so the drive shaft can pass through.

If you have a LWB and cut the x-member as above, you will be laughing!

Run 4.88 yota centres, and get some 4.24 transfer gears and you'll be set.

it will be going in a LWB it already has a 2'' body lift but the plans are for hilux diffs 4link rear 3link front and coilovers and maybe turbo

Should work then. And if you need more gearing than the transfer and diffs can offer. Buy an undertaker!

Anything bigger then 31 buy a undertaker
My mate runs 1.6 auto vit tc 5.29 hilux diffs and 36 in his Sierra and it sucks on road
Don't think it's ever been in forth
He's looking at the undertaker now

You also need to make slip yoke eliminators for the Vitara transfer case as they dont run output flanges, the tai shafts just slide in and out which is not suited for what your doing.

How about a kicker-3 / shogun box

Vit to sierra case doubler. 1-1 in high, 3 gear ranges to choose from.
