BFG KM2's My mate has a set and they are fantastic. Though if you want a good A/T tyre that performs surprisingly well Go the Bridgestone D694's I haven't found anyone who has anything bad to say about them. Except peoplt wanting a beasty mud tyre |

Pays to ring around, and you might find the old big horn pattern is being fazed out for the new one. |

I bought a set of 31's just last week after being told by various other tyre shops that they're not available at the moment, So give these guy's a call, Tyres For Less ph: (02) 9728 1333. They will be able to send them to your house. Good blokes to deal with and they were much cheaper than what I had been quoted by local shops. Here's their ebay link for 30's: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30X9-5R15-MA ... 3a6799600d |

if you want to be sure about any maxxis stuff give TyreMax a call. they are the wholesaler for Maxxis in australia, tell you where the stock is and also can arrange the price for you. Apparently there are some political issues regarding dealing with TyreMax, but Politics aside... I was speaking with Maxxis directly and they refered me back to TyreMax, and they agreed to supply our Club tires at '(close to) Trade price'. Tyremax is the primary importer of Maxxis in AU, Bob Jane being the other. They do about 100,000 sets a year. They dont do fitting but they can arrange a discount though thier retailers. I was looking at MT-762 Bighorn LT255/85R16 for example is $295 this is 33.5 x10 inch. Unfortunatly they dont make this size in the creepy anymore (people didnt like getting only 10 thousand Ks on them) I was quoted the AT-771 Bravo Series for the Pajero for $230 inc gst. And a set of the MT-753 Bravo Series Muddies for my boss for $290 fitted and ballanced at on of thier dealers (both were 265s, radials about 33s) Contact is Tony at TireMax, 03 9469 0555 |

I hear your pain. I've been having trouble finding a dealership that will supply maxxis in Darwin and after alot of research and asking around am still not that much closer. One of the first places I emailed was bob jane and they said they didn't stock them anymore. I've been told about the nankang mudstars nd after reading a few reviews apparently there good bang for your buck and last ages. There a copy of the maxxis buckshot. Apparently more readily available as well. There probably the option that I'm going with very soon. |

Anyone used www.tirerack.com? Quite a few guys at work use them without problem and have ended up with pretty big discounts compared to local prices. They don't do Maxxis though if that's what you want... And you have to keep your orders under $1000AUD inc postage to avoid GST... |
