Yes, but it's a big conversion - engine mounts need to be changed, you'll need to sort out the distributor drive and water piping, sump, etc - in short, you really need all the engine mounted accessories and gearbox from a 1.3 litre sierra to complete the conversion.

In short, even though the swift and sierra used the same engine type (G13) everything attached to the engine is different in the sierra in comparison to the swift. Your car has a completely different series of motor (F10) and nothing except the fan is interchangeable.

I had been thinking about a LWB Sierra as a possible project in the future, so what are the viable engine upgrade options for a LWB Sierra if it came with the F10 Engine originally? Yes I am aware the F10 is a very reliable engine, but they are also slow on the road.

I'd say a 1.6 Vitara EFI motor is the best swap - ideally with the gearbox from the donor vitara as well. It's always going to be a lot of work to swap away from an F10 - You might as well swap to something that's common, EFI and has a good gearbox attached.

The bigger problem in the OP's case was he was asking about a swift 1.3, and without sierra accessories, it's not a feasible swap IMHO.
