Low Range! Don't they have lifetime warranty on their 6:xx gearset? Either way they are a good mob to deal with. Trail gear just takes all the good ideas from the local vendors, and outsources the parts and manufacturing to china, then undercuts the original vendors price. Low Range buys most of their stuff from vendors, and re-sells. They only outsource stuff to china if it is best for the customer. Also if you have a problem with a part, they deal with the vendor that makes it for you. This way you get better service is something isn't right they work with the vendor to make it right instead of you. it is nice when wanting apart form say Rocky Road Outfitters, order it from low range and you have a better chance of getting the entire order. |

That wasn't my experience. I ordered a hard top for my tracker from Rallytops via Lowrange. The top turned up unpainted ( paid for silver ) and despite broaching the subject with LROR and RT, both left me high and dry. They make small margins on items they have to re-sell. You sell enough of them and you make money, but warranty claims etc pretty much garantee the loss of any income from that part. |

Well that sucks. I heard RT can be hard to deal with lately and they are not putting out the quality they used to. |

Well I can't speak for their previous craftsmanship, but it certainly sucks now! Would you believe that the entire rear section of my roof is held on with the supplied 2xM6 bolts? It moves around so much it has literally worn the paint off my car. |

As a company? I wouldn't give them a glowing review. As for their product, the front section of my roof is great. The rear section is the polar opposite. |

For the record, Calmini has absolutely no affiliation with Trail-Gear or vise versa. |

It moves around so much it has literally worn the paint off my car. That totally bites. Four years ago, RT's hard tops were the best. The fit and finish was sweet. They not only worked well, but they looked the goods too. as far as i can tell something happened about 1.5 years ago. Since then I have heard a few complaints that sound just like situation. For the money those tops should be 100% quality. I can see if you are paying less, but RT charges a premium, you should be getting a premium product. Bummer that Low range didn't take care of it for you. They probably don't sell enough of their tops to have much sway with 'em. I'd be spewin if I were in your shoes. |

Perhaps there is a typo here, but did you mean you have NO affiliation? Or absolute affiliation? I'm guessing its the prior. And while I have you here, thanks for dealing direct with AU customers again. For a while there we were made to buy Calmini products ONLY through Australian distributors. That was an extrememly costly and sometimes painful process for customers. Welcome to Auszookers

I'd be spewin if I were in your shoes. The tops are on LROR site. I just put it down to LROR being very busy, and sometimes these things slip through the net. It isn't THEIR product, so I don't hold a grudge. LROR are still the best, fastest and most reliable source for zuk parts. So I still shop there. |

I have one of your dropped pitman arms (great product) and at the time I could only source it through local distributors. They weren't overly helpful and the process was pretty painful. It's great you are now dealing with us direct. |
