I put my uhf in the glove box it is still reachable from the drivers seat and i just fed the hand piece wire behind the dash and out near the drivers seat the cord wasn't quite long enough but once i streched the spiral cord out and zip tied it straight it worked good |

Hi, i put my UHF in a different place, in my GV, mostly because i didnt want to make holes in, or pull apart the GV dash, and i wasnt using the space anyway... have an extension speaker in the cup holder between the front seats, so i can hear it, and i ran a power cable to the Cigy socket in the dash, it works well for me where it is... |

Yeh loosing the storage space sucks but mine is a soft top so the less thats visable from the out side the better. |

This is my basic setup... When I eventually get a rear bar with tyre carrier, the rear seats will be re-installed. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an internal cage for a bit of protection as well... Momo steering wheel
Alpine CD Player with UHF fixed underneath
Air locker & compressor switches to right of steering wheel
Winch In/Out switch and driving light switches to left of steering wheel
Autotechnica seats and striped out carpet
MDF rear side panels covered in black trim with 6x9 speakers, recovery gear in bag and shovel.

My modified dash to fit the GPS
WT instruments fitted onto the steel 1L dash
Door Trims
Seats
Have yet to fit UHF and maybe a stezza. The other thing I'd really like to do is install an interior light. I wish I'd fitted mesh pockets behind the seats before I put the tray on, and also wish I'd put map pockets on the back of the seats. Things I can do when I change the design next July

I want some! they look like MX-5 seats to me, there has been talk of people want to fit them in a few threads but no actual pics of them fitted. |
