Just had a look under mine. There's six bolts to hold it in. Four on the left and two on the right of tank.
I would take out the two left side bolts at the rear of the tank.
Screw bolts back in freelie with guard in place, so you can get a spanner in-between the guard nd tank to undo the bolts.
Undo two left side bolts to the front of tank. Then screw them in freely, start doing all four bolts up
The tank will be held in pretty good from the bolts on the right side of the tank. If it drops a bit you would easy hold it up.
I would do it when you have a fairly empty tank as well to make it easier.
I usually do things the hardest way. That's just how it turns out
