what is the best way to remove those pressed in rubber bushes with metal sleeves?

i tried the hammer took a chunck out of my driveway doing it
its not torn but i got nolothane bushes on the other side

Probably better to just leave to bush in...Better for flex but depends how stiff your new bushes are..

I had nonthane with my kingsprings. But im just using the stocko rubber ones now as i fixed my wobble problem..

Rubber are meant to be flexier

carve as much of the rubber out as you can then get a chisel into teh gap where the spring eye wraps around and smash the outer sleeve in to collapse it

or leave the sleeve behind and burn the rubber out, the nolathane bushes will still fit

nah the string will get hammered but its ok you dont need string in your suspension

you wont get it that hot its only burning rubber

so burn it out with petrol and leave the ring in there?

youd probably be better going to bunnings and grabbing a gas torch thingy for $25 to do it, will come in handy later too
