| Post subject: | sierra alternator regulator |
hey all just wondering if anybody would be able to tell me the location of the external alternator regulator. its a sj40 originally a 1.0 now has a 1.3 however its still got the 1.0 wiring loom and its been messed with by the previous owner. any help is greatly appreciated. cheers Dan |

cheers royce thats a big help . found the plug however its not plugged in to anything :/ ahh the joys of buying a new toy haha . thanks again |

It is unplugged, because a 1.3 alternator has internal regulator. Usually 2 of the regulator terminals are bridged. |
