Hey all, I'm trying to remove my engine at the moment and cannot remove the two upper trans/engine bolts. Lower two were easy to remove and yet the uppers I cannot even budge. I have used releasing agent, hot water, hitting it on the end with a hammer so any other ideas or tips would be very much appreciated. I also had a mate help and between us had no success. Regards, Bones |

I'm in the middle of an engine transplant, and one of my hard to reach bolts did same thing. I tried all the same things. In the end I went out and bought a cheap dremel copy, rotary tool. It has a long flixi extension, and was perfect for cutting off the nut. Damaged stud, too, but I used a bolt instead. Good luck, it is a pain. |

Take the box out with it, not much more effort. |

I ran abit of rope onto a spanner and out under the guard through the wheel arch. Helped get some more force onto the bolts.. But easy enough to just pull the whole lot at once.. |

Now I pulled the Vit motor out, it is clear pulling the lot out would be easier, but in my case, I don't have a roof thats high enough to allow that, or a lifter capable of it. Theres some shit hard bolts to undo, my Sierra was easier but. |

Thanks everyone, Took the two out together, was much easier. I was able to get one of the bolts out, however, the pass side had to be grinded off as it became very rounded..... Pics for proof
