I'm guessing for SFA or minimal increase on the dyno, but a wider rev range where it's delivered. |

Yea don't get your hopes up on peak HP figures, they are really a mathematical combination of torque * speed (RPM). What you should be far more interested is in how much the torque curve actually peaks by and/or how much more RPM range is gained at say 80%+ of the peak torque figures. I reckon you will see an increase of ~20nm peak torque depending of what your exhaust system entails. Deffo post up the before and after dyno sheets when you get them |

do you think kep the cat on or off? Leave the cat on!!! I was talking to my local exhaust shop the other day about hi-flow cats etc... He said you will see no difference on the dyno with or with out the cat and you can get a huge fine for not having one (some thing like 15k to the owner of the car and if the exhaust shop made the exhaust forv you with out the cat they can get up to 60k fine and closer of the business). Don't quote me on how true that is but he said it has happen in W.A. in 2009 one person got a 12k fine and one exhaust shop got closed...not worth the risk for very little or no power gain IMO... |
