Hey guys I have a non winch arb bar on my Jimmy, It is the airbag one
I am wondering if I can cut out a hole to fit a winch.
I know the bar isn't design for a winch but will it withstand a winch, also will the mounts hold up. The winch I have is a 9000lb

its should be ok to cut a hole for the fairlead in it but i would make a completely seperate cradle for the winch that comes off your chassis so the winch doenst affect your bar in any way. because it is not a winch bar the mounts and bar itself is not designed to withstand the forces of a winch and over time you will bend and distort the bar and especially with airbags you dont really wanna fuck that up

Cable ties and duct tape. Holds anything together ;)

because it's a non winch bar... maybe consider fitting some stronger mounting brackets where it attaches to the chassis? and a strong winch cradle?
