Hey,

Has anyone come across or know of some good floor mats? Last Friday I bought some Road Gear Outback floor mats (76x52).

http://www.roadgear.com.au/outbackDeep.html

Spent the better part of Yesterday trimming them to size for my Suzuki Jimny.

But even after cutting off and re-shaping the mats they still dont fit to well. Plus the front raised lip touches the bottom of the clutch and accelerator pedal which is annoying and potentially could be dangerous.

I'm after the same style/design of Road Gear Outback mats, being a 'dish' style, that catches dirt, small rocks and other debris from shoes and feet. But hopefully a better fit.

Advice on a better brands is welcome.

Cheers

Rubber mats with edges are awesome, Have some in my Subaru as standard..
Very good.

If you think they are a safety hazard, get rid of them. Camry's had a recall problem because the mats used to crawl under the brake pedal.
Not good.

My sierra had mats but just flat rubber style. No carpet. Made washing the floor easy. New one will be the same.
Awesome.

I have these in the front of my Jimny

But I use the ones suited for the rear in the front, because the ones suited for the front are way too big.

Wouldn't have a pic of them would you?

These ones are virtually identical to the Road Gear Outback mats. Yeah, I've tried the rear seat version, and they aren't long enough.

I use the cheap rubber mats in my jimny from stupid cheap...

They fit pretty well and dont allow alot of crap to make it to the floor. Also had them in my sierra and were a good fit in it as well.

How much bigger? Even if you/I where to trim them do you still think that they wouldn't fit?

Pretty pricey, just under three hunge delivered. Not too bad considering the genuine Isuzu are two hunge.

Clark Rubber also sell a similar styled mat ($37 a set). I used a rear floor set for the front of my Sierra, just needed a little trimming and it fits great. Not sure about fitting a Jimny though..

I can't believe there is a thread about floor mats

I've just got a set of mats from super cheap for about $15, I got them at that price when they got discontinued, they're the same brand but rubber with a little bit of carpet which is handy to wipe my feet of mud, can be cut to shape and fit the Vit just nicely.

Do you think I should get a sheepskin steering wheel cover to suit my seat covers?
