Hey Fellas,

Trying to sort out what I want to do with the back of my Jimny.... Have done a bit of a search but am pretty useless at it.

I'm particularly interested in how you fastened things to the floor and what materials you used.

Photo's would be best but if you could even link me to other threads that would be great.

Cheers.

that looks real good. Did you have to get longer bolts or did you just re use the ones that held the seats in?

So i've started building my drawers storage area. Using 15mm Ply as that was the thickest they had.

This is the design, not to scale.... I've decided not to go with a drawer, because I want to be able to access it from the top if I have the roof off. So i'm just going to put a storage tub in there.

The small hatch will house my compressor and hose etc. The opposite side will be the sub.

Looks like i'm gonna need to get longer bolts to go into the factory holes.

Tell ya what though, thought i could do it with a jigsaw, but can't get a straight cut to save my life.... Maybe a Circ Saw would help > :)

Mine (so far) is just a really basic shelf I made so I could load up the back easier and still keep the rear seats in.
