Post subject:  sloppy gearstick

my gear stick in my 89 sierra soft top is stuffed. ive had it happen in my hilux a few years ago replaced the nylon plug on the end, there are a few extra parts to the zook stick any tips of what i have to replace and where i can get them from stat!

I got a shifter bush kit from lowrangeoffroad. I got the full kit for gear and transfer

I know you would probably change the colours...but what colour do you make your gear box bushes. I got a red one and a black one here. What is the size of a gearbox bush?? Obviously one is t'fer

by memory the one in the gearbox was red i think, when i had to pull my transfer stick out to get it out of neutral once i dont think it even had a bush on it...?

Colour means NOTHING guys. All depends what colour was in the machine at the time of making them.
The G/box one will have 2 half moon cut outs while the T/case bush does not.

I assumed as much. I'll go dig mine out and have a look. I think I got them from you at least a year ago, should probably put them in :roll:

LOL I have spares in my zooks. Amazing how many I have fitted to other zooks on tracks 1/2 way throught a trip :roll: :wink:

i think it was 3 or 4 years ago when i bought mine. they are to cheap to not be in the spares kit.
