is the pulley sitting on the keyway correctly ? are the bolts from the pulley to the crank pulley tight ? is the bottom main crank bolt tight ? |

yes there is damage to the block but its not rubbing the block know? as i turn it you can see its closer to the block another 180 degrees and its further, prob 1mm in difference, but once you have the pulley on it increases to about 2, 3mm... bit scary to watch, so is it a matter of pulling it off and putting it back on?? |

mate slow down!!! there will be 4 or 5 small 10mm bolts that hold that pulley on, no puller required it will fall off without them. once its off make sure its not bent, dented or cracked. clean it up put it back on. oh and when you do them up, do it in a star pattern. dont go around as this wont help with the wobble. |

X2 this is what happened to my brothers g16b and it had the exact same symptom you're describing. not sure if he still has pics, but there was a big chunk out of the leading edge where the keyway goes and the keyway was munched too. i pulled the engine out put it on a engine stand, flipped it upside down and put another crank in it (he had a 1.6 carby bottom end sitting there). to change the crank over only took an afternoon, it was pulling the engine out that took time (all those EFI wires!) does it lack power? |

Hey shandy, I have tried that last night but it was still no good, the pulley itself is straight, not bent. So I can see its the keyway, hope there isn't much damage, ill see tonight. Will it simply tap off? |
