what have you tried?? you wind it out to make it longer .. the diff moves across .. thats pretty much it. I'm not a fan of the toughdog ones, as they need to be removed at one end to be adjusted. its a pain in the arse.. |

This is the jimnybit's one? Sit the car on its wheels. Loosen off the locking bolts, get a level or a fence paling or some other straight edge with a wide-ish base, and a tape measure. Place the level vertical against the wheel arch so it runs past the centre of the hub to the ground. Take a measurement of the gap between the hub and the level, then check the other side. Take the difference between the two measurements, Divide it by half. Then use a shifter to wind the adjuster out or in by this amount. Check your measurements again, if you're me you'll have gne too far and have to back a little off. Once you've got it right, lock it off with the locking nuts.. Be ready to check It again in a week or so once the suspension has settled. |
