Ok my front diff centre blew in my manual vitara. Dunno how but the pinion sheered some teeth. Nowhere near were it mates with the crown wheel. :s

My question is. I'm swapping to a GV steel diff. So I need to swap my ring and pinion from mine into the GV centre. However my pinion is rooted.

My diff is a 26 spline. Any chance I can get a 22 spline 5.12 centre and use the R&P out of that and still have a 26 spline diff.

Will the rear centre be right to do the swap of the ring and pinion

no. They are significantly larger than the front.
