Are trail creeper 6.5 transfer gears any good? Just wondering as their cheap? Anyone running these? |

I got the ones from Lowrange... I think they are the same? They are good if you run 31 inch tyres on the road. RPM is about 4000 @ 100km/h Excellent offroad, mostly drive in 3rd gear low range for most stuff, crawling is less than walking speed 1st gear low. I am currently selling a full 6.5 case fully built with home made kong style ring/protection. |

I know the 6.5s a kick ass gear is their quality on these ones any good? Hutch I keep looking at your post and the more I do the more I want if I had the cash I'd buy them hahaha I guess I better save some cash or beg the misses to get them for me for crissy good present hey haha |

They are quite easy to do. |

Oh yer there the same gears actuly cheaper off lowrange the ones I was looking at off eBay where $520 and 120 postage to aus from America but not to sure if they have warranty |

I'm not to sure but last time bought something from the states I'll let you know when I get it never made here the first part did but never the second and it cost me $600 and a another month of waiting to find another get insurance on what ever you buy |

my gears took about 2-3 weeks after it had all been cleared, that was a couple of months ago now but i assume it wouldnt have changed to much Jesse |

The 6.5s i reckon are too low for my 32's.....i am gettin used to them though....i like my 4.5's or what ever i had in my first one better.... Just my opinion! |

If I go gears that's what I'll go I think or one up from that but if I went 6.5s I'd go minimum 33s |

All depends on what you drive also. If you drive mostly mud/clay, too much reduction will see you less capable. If you drive lots of rock, reduction is the best. |

Yeah but on my old one when i went 33's was when i startin breakin heaps of stuff.... My 6.5's i use 1st and 2nd down hill and 2nd up....or in clay rut hills even 4th and 5th! |
