no it will rev more, 3700 is a pretty sweet spot for a sierra anyway |

110 KPH in a Sierra!!??
i'd be more worried about keeping it in one lane rather the revs |

That's why I tell people Sierra are that small, they need to be to keep them in one lane |

thanks guys for the info I doubt it would ever be able to do that on the road. 170kph and the bricklike profile of the Sierra body causes a lot of deag. |

aww the momries of going fast in a zook. when i first got her, used to get 130 to 140km/h on the clock easy. thats rollen on 35s, so its out about 25kms.. now with this stock vit motor only gets up about 90 max on the clock.. 5th gear on 2700rpm |

I'm with Bluesuzy here. I used to do 100km a day on the M1 at 110-120kmh. When I first got it it wandered a bit but mainy due to the wind. I put in some caster wedges and the 15000kms since she drives straight as an arrow. the wind blows the body around on the swprings but it still tracks straight. With my 30s and transfer gearing 100-120kmh = 3500 - 4000rpm. Wouldn't mind dropping them a little though as 3500 is where it starts making a hell of a racket. I'm hoping the bigger tryres brings it down to the 3200-3300 mark. |

Yeah front to back. Technically my steering plain is higher at the front and lower at the back than stock. I got hilux wedges from snake racing and cut them down but I found superior engineering ahd them ready made for the zuk when I put them in my GF's sierra. |

When the caster is out yes it will want to steer all over the place...Mine is sorted i think.. Oh and wind is definately a different story But a low brick with heavy wide tyres help..More then a 5"lift on stockers! |

nope flat no wind highway actually it used to cruise on 110 loaded with camping gear too, got bang on 10l 100km as well it was a freak, you can imagine my disappointment when I 'upgraded' to a slower 1.3 |

I only ever drove my standard 1.3 to 110km/h. Anything after that would require the use of earplugs to drown out the noise of the screaming motor. Now with 31's on it, it'll still do 110 in 4th, but it takes a while to get there. |
