The bearings in my Transfer case are knackered. Mr Suzuki is putting together a quote to repair it but I'm sure it will knock the stuffing out of me financially. Low Range have a special on at the mo and if possible I could get an overhaul kit from them. Just want to know if anyone here knows if the T-case on these things are super special and if possible what the specs are. Steve. |

How good is the special?? Weaves, our resident bearing god would most definately know what is required. He always does excellent prices for AZ members http://auszookers.com/index.php?name=Fo ... ic&t=28204 |

Even local bearing places are very price compareable. Suprisingly.. |

Thanks for pointing me in a good direction guys. I'd still like to know if I have a different T-case than the 1600s or the GV one. Or perhaps all Vitara ones are the same? With the chain drive its probably out of my ability to DIY. Steve. |

Anyone help me on this? Really just want to know if the G16 series gearbox/T-cases are the same. A friend offered me a 1600 one at club night yesterday and I'd like to know if its going to swap in. Steve. |
