Hey there guys/gals
I am hoping someone can help me with a bit of info that i am trying to find out! Has anyone had any experience with shock hoop installation? I am trying to work out if it is possible to install them with out welding them to the chassis rail ( I know it would be best, but I've heard that the engineers frown on weldin to the chassis :( ) If anyone has any info or ideas please let me know :)

Thanks!

If you're not welding, how do you propose to attach them? Duct tape plus hopes and dreams?

Welding TO the chassis rail is fine. It's certain locations and methods engineers don't like.

Correctly fishplated and welded on the vertical axis, you'll have no problems.

awesome thanks for that mate, I was thinking of making a bracket that the hoops could be welded to and then U-bolt that to the chassis rail  I just wanted to see if anyoine has had a go at trying anything different, but if I'll be able to wled it with no drama's then there is no need to look for different ways :P
again cheers for the help :)
